Welcome to the Dollhouse

I forget how old I was when I got this dollhouse for Christmas...maybe eight? Ten? I have no idea. As you can see, I still like toys. I'm easily entertained.

Valentine's Day

Last year, boyfriend and I were on vacation in Puerto Rico the week of Valentine's Day. Boyfriend forgot about Valentine's Day. I said perhaps we should celebrate Valentine's Day on March 14th instead. I'm not big on Valentine's Day, but I think it's nice to make homemade gifts or cards. This year, boyfriend put together a wonderful photo album of all our trip photos. My only complaint is my being ten pounds heavier in the pics.

Socks With Lots of Life Left

More Freecycling gone wrong:
Hi!

Spring cleaning time, and lots of stuff needs a new home. Some things are in P town,
others in N town. Items must be picked up in towns indicated. I can help you load!
************ ********* ********* ********* *********
P town:
Small bag of assorted freecycle: used assorted men's/women' s socks with lots of life left,
opened but nearly full bag of new wooden skewers, 2 servicable 3"x5" file boxes with
dividers, excellent condition small basket with removeable plastic liner and large handle,
suitable for Easter basket or planter. Must take all and pass on anything you don't want to
keep.

Small but very full bag of unopened, assorted canned and jarred dry goods. I'd prefer that
this go to someone with limited income or a food pantry.

2 working (just tested!) complete older PC setups; CPUs, monitors, keyboards, mice,
printers with some ink still in them (may only have one printer). Take one set-up or both,
but must take an entire set-up. There may be some cables available, too, but if not, these
are widely available.
************ ********* ********* ********* *********
N town:
Both new and used carpet remnants and padding, all origionally from the same sand
colored roll. Different sizes, ranging from small to quite large, are more than enough to
cover a big room if stapled down together. The used ones are still in very servicable
condition, but do need a steam cleaning. You'll need a truck or van to pick this up; MUST
take all!

Large pile of camp fire wood, pine and cedar. About half are painted with latex paint, most
still have nails in them. You'll need a truck to pick this up; MUST take all!

Still Going

I'm still in a head cold fog. You'd think there was a cure...aside from blowing one's head off.

Work is still...fruitless. I'm still a temp. My 4 week temp-to-permanent period ended and the boss decide to postpone my hiring. I'm not thrilled about it. Wasn't given a reason for it either. And basically the temp service is still getting a cut. Geez, at least offer to hire me as a consultant and pay me what you are paying the service. It flat out stinks.

Previous employer wanted me to stay on as a consultant, but that was in December. Now they are saying that it just might be better to have someone else in the office do the work. Yeah, okay, I understand your decision. Fine. Why is there no apology? "We're sorry. We did say we wanted you, but now we have decided otherwise." I don't understand the lack of acknowledgement.

Sigh.

YO! Whateverrrrr! Biaaaaaatch!

That's the title of this guy's personal ad. I like the fact that he's straightforward about what he wants - and his catchy title.

Me, laid back, cool, somewhat attractive, semi-fit, love laughing, love different types of food, love hangin with someone with the same likenesses, self-proclaimed computer geek, small business owner (plumbing Co.), love building bikes (motorcycles) me and friends (not for a business), Love to have someone who loves sex (not just says they do!, very common!) I prefer slim, average or healthy girls, under 6' that consider themselves to be attractive. If a girl thinks she's attractive then she probably is. I just want to hang with someONE and have a good time. I dont smoke or drink but wont mind someone who drinks (a little!).

What's your favorite thing about Atlanta?
The variety, and the tons of places to eat!

What's your least favorite thing about Atlanta? All the racial bullshit.

What are your 5 favorite local hangouts? Dixie Tavern, Dark Horse Tavern, Red Door, The pool Hall (for shock value), Star Bar.......Wherever da partys at!

What's your favorite slang expression? "Motherfucker!"

What's under your bed? Dust Bunnies

What's your guiltiest pleasure? Sugar

What's your most prized possession? My Dog

What's one thing people are surprised to find out about you? It used to be that I had tattoos, but now probably that Im very passionate about certain things.

Quote a line from your favorite movie. hmmmmmm, seriously there are tons! Ill have to pick later.

I consider myself an open-minded person, but my deal breakers are smokers and prudes

It's Sunday morning at 10 a.m. If I'm not still sleeping, I'm workin in the shop or on the computer

The quickest way to my heart is laughter / honesty The quickest way to my bed is flirting and openess And in the morning, I like my eggs cooked scrambled w/cheese

When I die, I believe I will go to outer space

I wouldn't be who I am if I was someone else

I wouldn't sell my dog for a billion dollars.

If I could have any super hero power, it would be super strength and i would use it in evil ways

Maple Pecan

Another thing that stinks about being sick with a productive cough is how thicker liquids aren't as pleasurable as they normally are. I'm not a tea person. When I'm sick I can tolerate flavored teas, but I'd much rather be drinking flavored coffee. I'm feeling better today than I was yesterday, so I'm having my Maple Pecan. I wish I had a maple pecan cinnamon roll to eat with it. I have been craving cinnamon sugar the past 24 hours. I usually crave oatmeal when I'm sick...

I know the above is yet another poorly focused pic, but aside from that let me tell you...if you are in the market for a new coffee maker, I highly recommend you do not purchase a white one. Even if you have white walls, white cupboards and all your appliances are white - white coffee makers show every coffee splatter. They're on the area behind the carafe, inside the lid, and on top of the lid. You can see the coffee grinds that get stuck in the crevices around the basket holder. If I had a black one, I would never have to clean those splatters! I know, at least with a white one you can see it's dirty and needs to be cleaned - but I ain't no domestic goddess.

Unfortunate

Work kicked my butt this week. It has been right proper busy - busy with a whole lotta unfortunateness. I can't elaborate, but it all kinda stinks. Especially considering I haven't been hired yet and I'm making lousy money. I still don't know if they are even going to hire me. So I'm busting my butt just in case they decide they want me on their team. But now I'm not even sure I want to work there. There's still that issue I have about the place. Add to it this week's badness...sigh.

I've been perusing the classified - why do so many places use staffing firms? It plain sucks to have to deal with these places. I won't even get into how annoying their job posting are. Okay, you twisted my arm - in the "job location" field, 9 out of 10 staffing firms put in where their office is located rather than the job. It's such a pain in the a$$ when people can't even post a job properly.

On top of all the unsettling shizzle on the job front, I'm now ill. Cough. Whoa is me. Cough.
